About Cullie

I look forward to working with you and supporting you in your vocal exploration.

No matter the student's age, I teach with a spirit of play, as it nourishes our natural capacity for self-expressive movement.

As a performer and teacher, I'm intimately acquainted with performance anxiety and offer compassionate ways to work with oneself while navigating anxiety.

As a voice teacher and Licensed Body Mapping Educator, I bring 20 years of teaching experience to my students. My background is eclectic, having studied classical voice privately for over 23 years, in tandem with intensive Spiritual Formation/Intentional Communication studies for over 25 years, becoming a certified Spiritual Life Coach and Spiritual Companion.

My voice training was established on a firm somatic foundation, steeped in the Feldenkrais Method, and I've been affiliated with the Association for Body Mapping Education for 14 years. I absolutely love to learn!

For 11 years, I owned an acoustic performing arts company, The Cabaret Connection, and produced and performed in numerous dinner theater and concert-style performances in Central Oregon. I also developed a children's music and movement program, Music with Miss Cullie, weaving singing, World Music Drumming, and creative movement into all of my classes. I've facilitated vocal workshops for high school choirs, worship teams, and annual intensive music conferences. These varied experiences have convinced me that embodied singing is a healing art that facilitates free, whole-being movement and promotes transformative performing artistry.
